Everyone enjoyed The Keith McGee Trio with David Luvin – bass, Ian Bell – drums and the fabulous Lucy Lockwood last night at the Slug & Lettuce, Didsbury. Lucy sang, scatted and even whistled standards and some new songs to amazing creative arrangements. I love Keith’s sensitive playing along with David’s incredible bass playing and Ian’s pulse with punctuations, all the elements for a brilliant evening that will be remembered by all the attentive audience.
