Another great occasional Jazz Jam Tues 14th Feb 2017 at the Slug & Lettuce, Didsbury. Lots of tunes about “love” including the obligatory number for the evening, “My Funny Valentine” sung by Pete McSloy. Lots of instrumental musicians played superbly in various combos in our jazz palace. We ended with all playing and soloing on “Blue Monk”. Thanks Peter Maguire for joining our jam on his valve trombone during a short trip to the UK from his home in Brussels.
