Pete McSloy and his band played the Woodstock, Barlow Moor Rd, last night to a full house of an appreciative audience. This was a Didsbury Arts festival event and a chance to listen to Pete sing an evening of his own brilliant compositions full of emotion and commentary on life. Pete and Steve Oakes (gtr), Robin Hughes (sax), Tim Franks (drums), and John Sandham (bass), in his band, beautifully performed a perfect mix of swing, latin, ballads and blues.
