Jazz UPSTAIRS at the Slug & Lettuce, Didsbury.
on Tuesday 27 November featured a welcome return of the
M6 band
Helen Pillinger – ten.sax , Helena Jane Summerfield – alto/flute,
Nikki Turner – vocals, Krish Turner – piano, Steve McEvoy– bass,
Tim Franks – drums. They played originals from Helena and Nikki, along with jazz standards and some with a township feel.
